01 July : Goods and Services Tax (GST) Day

The tax came into effect from 1 July 2017 through the implementation of the One Hundred and First Amendment of the Constitution of India by the Indian government. The GST replaced existing multiple taxes levied by the central and state governments.

01 July : National Doctors’ Day

The National Doctor's Day is celebrated in the memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a former Chief Minister of West Bengal and a well-known physician. He was born on July 1, 1882, and died on the same date in 1962, aged 80 years.

18 July : Nelson Mandela  Day

Nelson Mandela International Day (or Mandela Day) is an annual international day in honour of Nelson Mandela, celebrated each year on 18 July, Mandela's birthday. The day was officially declared by the United Nations in November 2009, with the first UN Mandela Day held on 18 July 2010.

 23 July : National broadcasting day


National broadcasting Day is observed every year on 23 July across India. It is on 23 July in 1927, the 1st ever radio broadcast in country went on the air from Bombay Station under a private company called the Indian Broadcasting Company (IBC).

24 July : Aayakar Diwas or Income Tax Day

It was on 24th July, 1860 that Income Tax was introduced for the first time in India by Sir James Wilson to compensate for the losses incurred by the British regime during the first war of independence against British Rule. This is why 24th July is observed as the Income Tax Day

26 July : Kargil Vijay Diwas

          29 July : Mohun Bagan Day

Mohun Bagan became the first Indian team to lift the IFA Shield. Indian football was born on 29 July 1911, and at the same time it pumped the freedom movement with much-needed enthusiasm. 29th July came to be known as Mohun Bagan Day. This victory was highly praised not only by the Indian media.

30 July :  World Day Against Trafficking In Persons

World Day against Trafficking in Persons 2019 is held on July 30th 2019, and is an annual event. People trafficking and modern day slavery is a massive worldwide problem with very few countries immune to human trafficking, and the event by the United Nations is to raise awareness and increase prevention of that.
